Senior Account Manager

Manage relationships with major brand name customers of Songbird, maintain and expand relationships with strategic business integration partners.

The ideal profile:

This position requires an organized, detail oriented individual interested in helping Songbird’s brand name partners deliver new digital media services. You should be comfortable interacting with partners and managing complex projects. An interest in creating process to build a sustainable company is a plus. Former project managers or developers without account management experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist business development in the creation of product demonstrations.
  • Manage Songbird’s partners efforts to integrate their services and devices into Songbird by coordinating deliverables and dependencies with other groups.
  • Review strategic agreements, define sustainable processes for fulfilling obligations, and execute obligations.
  • Respond to scheduled and daily needs of existing accounts.
  • Provide timely reports to Partners.
  • Build relationships with partners and increase their satisfaction.
  • Perform quarterly assessments of partnerships with an eye to expanding the business.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or account management at a software or web services company.
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an eye for sustainable processes.
  • An interest in either defining products or learning more about business development.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to think analytically and to set clear priorities, with very strong issue resolution, and decision-making skills required.
  • Knowledge of web technologies like CSS, HTML, XML and JavaScript are a plus.
  • Advanced PowerPoint/Keynote and Excel.

This position reports to the Vice President of Strategic Development.

Availability: Full-time.

Location: You are preferably located near San Francisco, California.
