Songbird data from standalone SQLLite

I'd really like to contribute to this project, and my area of immediate interest is using songbird.db directly as a data store from external applications.

I've installed an SQLLite ODBC driver, and I've been playing with SQLite Database Managers from newObjects, but I've not been able to successfully connect to songbird.db.

Question: Can someone please give me some pointers to start me down this path or, alternately, quash my expectations?

Thanks!

well, the database schema is changing drastically from 0.2.5 to 0.3, you should probably wait until then.

the sqlite commandline tool is available from our svn repository, you can start with that for reading the raw tables.
