When can we see the end user software of Songbird

It's been many days since I have been using songbird....I felt it is stable but a bit too memory intensive compared to any other media players.

Right now I on working on a project of customizing Ubuntu distro for our country is it good to actually add songbird removing the media player? Is it a good idea to do that? And when can I expect the final stable and end user software of songbird?

Well it's hard to tell how long it will be till version 1 will be out. But you can estimate based on how long the last release has been.
0.3 to 0.4 was about 2 months; 0.4 to 0.5 looks like it should be about 3 months. So if we estimate 3 months per release, and we have 5 releases to go after 0.5, it should be about 15 months. But it could easily be 2yrs.

That's only an guesstimate, but the real answer is: "when it's done".
