Where are downloads stored on my computer?

I'm having some trouble with my downloads and was wondering where do the songs songbird downloads go? Thanks.

For me my downloads just go to the folder where I scan music from. So on Ubuntu I scan from /home/john/music/ and my songs end up there too.
So, my best guess would be wherever you scan from.

thanks i found it in the "My Music" folder. the thing is, after my addons update, nothing i downloaded works any more. its like songbird can't find the file. So i wonder, is it because the files somehow moved on my computer, or is it songbirds fault?

I'm not sure why that would happen, my best guess is that the file directions got messed up.
But just removing the song from Songbird, and re-adding the songs should get them playing again.
