Didn't really know where to post this one...

Well, it's just that the flash download from you support page doesn't do the trick for me.
I get this message;
Songbird could not install this item because "install-cq6..rdf" (provided by the item) is not well-formed or does not exist. Please contact the author about this problem.

Running on winXp :'(

Hrm - that looks an error message you'd get from an add-on install. Flash should be a .exe installer that you run outside of Songbird.

well, it says;

Open Songbird and paste "http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/xpi/current/flashplayer-win.xpi" in the location bar at the top of the library or browser. Follow the installation process.

and that's what I do.
I'm starting to think that I'm going noob here! ;)

Try downloading the flash plugin from the Adobe site and install it (it's an .exe). When you install Songbird, flash should be automagically working for you.
Maybe you could try un- and then reinstalling songbird and see, if it worked?

If not, be sure to file a Bug.
