I love songbird, but the 0.5 Developer release for PPC is running extremely slow on my Mac Mini 1.25 G4 :(

Is there anything I can do to use Songbird, and not lose some of the functionality I am particulary fond of (I like mashTape)??

0.5 is hopefully the last of the noticeably slow releases. We've put a ton of work into overhauling library to improve performance. http://blog.songbirdnest.com/2008/05/09/performance-improvem...

Check out a 0.6 nightly, or sit tight for a couple weeks and let us know if you're experiencing a super slow 'bird.
