Database Location/Format/Resetting

Well, I did a search for the above information and mostly got threads on importing XML databases.

1. I was wondering where the default database location is on both Windows and linux.

2. Also, is there documentation of the database schema?

3. Is there a suggested way of resetting/clearing the database? I had Songbird crash upon importing and would like to start "fresh".

Hi - which database are you talking about? There's a few if you go into your Songbird1 folder (~/.songbird1 on Linux, and Songbird1 under your Application Data user folder on Windows). Under Songbird1/Profiles/.default/*.sqlite, those are the SQLite databases backing the various Firefox-y databases.

The Songbird library databases containing the metadata are under the "db" directory.

If you want to start entirely fresh (i.e. new library, new profile, new extensions, etc.) then you can just nuke your entire Songbird1 directory.
